At Camp Fire Columbia, we are still glowing from #TalentShow2016.
Thank you to EVERYONE who joined us. Not only did we feature incredible youth performances and have an amazing crowd in attendance, we raised over $146,000. That is the most we’ve ever raised at a Talent Show– because of you.
Every penny raised empowers us to work with kids who need us most– young leaders like Julant’e, who inspired a standing ovation with his story. Over the years we’ve worked with Julant’e, he’s grown from a rambunctious middle school student to a valued member of our Youth Advisory Committee.
Check out his incredible story.
We have so many thank you’s! Especially to our Presenting Sponsors: Bank of America and The Standard. Thanks also to Comcast, Fred Meyer, Cambia Health Solutions, Matisse, and Moda Health.
We are grateful to Devil’s Food Catering and Cupcake Jones for the delicious bites, and to Lagunitas Brewing Co. for being our official beer sponsor. Thank you to the Camp Fire Board of Directors and the Talent Show Host Committee.
Shout-out to emcee Dale Johannes and to auctioneer Ian Lindsay. And we couldn’t have done this event without the rock-star team at Swaim Strategies and the crew at Revolution Hall. Thank you to everyone who donated their time and their money, and to our supporters who provided items for our wine wall and our grab bags.
And most of all… thank you to our youth performers, their families, and the Camp Fire staff who made this year’s Talent Show such a fun and heartwarming event.
