Friday, Oct. 23 – Sunday, Oct. 25
Fall Service Weekend was filled with beautiful fall weather, alumni sharing favorite memories, and volunteers giving back to keep Namanu “sure to shine ” for 90+ years more.

Thank you to all who joined in the projects and fun times at Namanu – from ages 2 to 95!

One of our attendees summed up the weekend:

“Dale counted us up and did the math, and it turns out we put in at least 400 hours of work this weekend! That’s amazing! He went on to add that it would have taken him and Charlie 5 weeks to clock those same hours! Fabulous work, everybody!

*The House of Health got weather sealed and looks incredible!

*TONS of wood got chopped and stored in multiple locations throughout camp.

*The inside of Kiwanis Lodge got sanded down and is looking fresh and clean.

*The weavery now has enough supplies prepped to last through half of next summer!

We also cleared brush, removed labels, repaired archery equipment, and touched up some signs! (Not to mention the incredible people who cooked all weekend)

We can’t imagine it having gone any better! WoHeLo! We will see everybody back in the spring!”
