Thank you for your patience, and participation, as Camp Fire collected information from families about their willingness and desire to join Camp Fire’s Essential Summer Care Program this summer. With rule changes to licensed child care, PPS building closures and a high volume of participant cancellations, we realize there have been many questions unanswered. We received nearly 200 survey responses. I apologize for the impact this has had on you and the anxiety it may have created.
Due to feedback, state guidelines, cancellations and extremely low enrollment we unfortunately are announcing that Camp Fire will not be able to run summer programming this summer.
As a person who knows the importance of summer care programs and loves building community through programs such as Camp Fire’s, it is with immense sadness to have to close summer opportunities. We are working hard to adapt to new rules in hopes that fall will bring better news and the ability to serve you again. Please know that I am available for any of your questions or concerns.
I hope to see you all in future programs.

At Camp Fire Columbia, we help build confident, independent leaders who are able to engage and thrive in their world.
Committed to providing an environment that is safe, fun, and nurtures a sense of belonging for each and every youth, Camp Fire is ready for summer!
Camp Fire’s Summer Day Camp day-to-day activities provide youth, ages 5-12, with hands-on learning while keeping all the fun and silliness you’d expect from a traditional summer camp. Camp Fire kids connect with their communities through local field trips and presentations from special guests.
Day Camp Rates, Session Themes, and Schedules all vary by location.
Each week has its own unique theme and will include a variety of activities including field trips, special guests, arts and crafts, STEAM challenges and day trips to Camp Namanu.
