Before and After School

Currently offering support in two districts in the Portland Metro Area, this model is licensed with the Oregon Child Care Division and provides intentional outcome-based programming while immersing youth in valuable enrichment activities before and/or after school and on holidays and teacher planning days.

High School

The High School Program partners with under-resourced schools to offer high-intensity mentoring and college/career readiness activities to youth in order to support them in exploring their future aspirations.

Middle School

The Middle School Program partners with 5 schools in PPS, and 2 schools in Reynolds, to support underserved youth as they prepare for success in high school, develop leadership skills, affect change in their communities through service learning, and make goals for their futures.

Summer Programs

At Camp Namanu we build confident, independent leaders who are able to engage and thrive in their world. Camp Namanu has three diverse programs that operate all summer long: Resident Camp (a classic sleep-away experience), Namanu Ranch (with an emphasis on horseback riding), and Day Camp (daytime childcare in SE Portland, Gresham, Sandy, and West Linn).

SUN Community School

The Camp Fire Kids program is provided to select Portland Title 1 schools through the Multnomah County Community School model. Recognizing that children need stabilized, supportive homes to be successful in school, the program offers educational, health, and social services for kids and their families.

Xploregon

Xploregon is a summer program for teens that combines outdoor skills, leadership development, and team-building. Xploregon participants travel around the state of Oregon, participating in beach clean-ups, nature challenges, and specific academic enrichment activities.
