About Samantha

Samantha got her start working with youth in a summer camp near Yosemite, called Calvin Crest Conferences, and spent five summers there. She also spent a year in New Zealand doing outdoor education at a summer camp near Wellington called El Rancho. Samantha is originally from California but moved to Oregon to get a M.A. in Intercultural Studies. She uses her degree to help connect kids to the greater world around them with the goal of emphasizing global citizenship and cultural understanding. In her free time Samantha loves to make jewelry. She also enjoys camping and hiking with her husband Jesse and drinking too much coffee.
