Cloey moved to Portland eight years ago from the Willamette Valley. She strives to show children opportunities to hone in on their passions. She realizes that she is growing and learning alongside them, and hopes that the tools to work through problems she leaves children with will help them in the future. When not at Rose City Park you can find her singing lead in one of the top rated event bands in the Pacific Northwest, called the Hereafters. Or partaking in other interests outdoors, playing kickball, hanging with her cat, dancing the salsa, or playing games with friends and family.
Cloey has worked for a handful of non-profit programs that focused on work with children, and even created an outreach program for kids in her own neighborhood, giving them a safe place to learn about safety, cook, do arts and crafts, play games and get to know the other kids. She’s also spent time as a nanny and helped raise her younger siblings as both parents worked overtime every week.
Last year Cloey started with Camp Fire as a Site Instructor and worked over the summer as the Assistant Director for Camp Fire’s Summer Day Camp program.
