Casey was born and raised in Portland and has lived in the area for most of her life. Working at Camp Fire has allowed her to introduce her love of the outdoors, the arts, and storytelling all at once. She loves supporting youth as they discover new ideas, grow and challenge themselves in a supportive space. This year, she is committed to incorporating more mindfulness, equity/inclusion, and diverse worldviews into programming. When Casey is not at Fernwood, she can be found hiking, writing, reading, DIY’ing, or hanging out with her cat, Arlo.
This is Casey’s 5th year with Camp Fire Columbia! She has also spent summers working as a Counselor and Arts & Crafts/Archery Specialist at a resident camp for Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington.
Casey holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Portland State University.
