Raised all over the Midwest, primarily in Minnesota, Amy moved to Portland in 2000.
She has a BA from Carleton College in Sociology/Anthropology with a minor in Environmental Studies and her MA is from Portland State University in Conflict Resolution with an emphasis in building cultural competency in higher education. Amy has worked in education management for fifteen years at Portland Community College and Reading Results.
“I am the dragon my three sons try to slay, the human who throws the frisbee,
and the family top chef. My family also loves to go camping (even in the snow), cross country skiing, hiking and canoeing.”
