Come Volunteer at Camp Namanu Summer 2018

At Camp Fire Columbia, we are committed to providing volunteers with knowledge and skills to help support youth thriving in Camp Fire programs. Camp Namanu has a rich history of volunteers offering their talents to make camp safe, fun, and exciting for today’s Camp Fire Kids. Summer 2018 is no exception. Whether you choose to volunteer in the Friends of Namanu Camp Store, or offer your talents as a Volunteer Specialist, all Camp Namanu Summer Camp Volunteers must attend a mandatory orientation/training every three years, as well as becoming certified through our on-line Recognizing & Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect course.

If you attended the training last year, you do not need to attend this year’s training, however, a yearly background check is required.

This training will be held at 12 PM June 3rd, 2018 (following the June Friends of Namanu meeting) in Raker Lodge.
