Applicants must be 15 – 18 years old and entering 10th – 12th grade in the fall of 2014. This is competitive program. We requires an application along with references. Get the application here.

Camp Namanu’s 2-year Counselor in Training (CIT) program transitions youth from campers to potential staff members. CITs follow a dynami Camp Fire Columbia curriculum designed to teach them about child development, behavior management, communication, decision-making and leadership. These young leaders receive mentoring, weekly evaluations, gain real-life, meaningful experiences, and are empowered to make and live by their own good decisions. CIT 1 applicants must be 15 or 16 years old and entering the 11th grade in the fall of 2014.
The Counselor In Training 2 (CIT2) Program | Grade 12
July 6-August 1 – $850
CIT 2 participants have already completed CIT 1 and are invited to attend the second year of the program. We are unable to make any exceptions to this requirement. Namanu’s CIT program is competitive and requires an application, references, and an interview.
