The Camp Fire Columbia Youth Advisory Committee offers 24 youth from diverse backgrounds and experiences a chance to participate in a national leadership development and service learning program. These ambassadors for Camp Fire Columbia also serve as leaders in their own communities.

The Committee has been created to elevate youth voice and contribution to Camp Fire Columbia programming, while providing young people with a unique opportunity to be drivers of their own ideas from conceptualization to implementation and reflection.

The 2014-2015 Youth Advisory Committee attended a Spring Leadership Retreat, served as teen representatives and volunteers at the annual Camp Fire celebrity talent show, participated in focus groups designed to advise the organization on various topics affecting youth. In celebration the Youth Advisory Committee received certificates of participation, a stipend as an appreciation for their hard work as well as a fun filled day at Oaks Park!
