About Naomi

Naomi is originally from Seattle Washington, and move to Portland in the winter of 2001. She has been working with kids since 1999. Naomi’s first job was as an assistant after school teacher at the YWCA. She later became a lead teacher and a coordinator for the YMCA after school program for several years. Naomi took a short break from teaching to take some college courses in education and communication at WCC.  She plans on continuing her education this Winter when she starts attending PSU. During her break from running many after school programs, Naomi created a non-profit tween program call F&WM, this is a monthly event program that offers tweens between the ages of 9-12 an opportunity to help with building strong relationships through community activities. During her free time she loves spending time with her family. Naomi is the youngest of nine siblings and there is nothing she loves more than spending time with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoys shopping and hanging out with friends at coffee shops.
