About Kristina

This is Kristina’s third year at Camp Fire Columbia’s Before and After School program. She has worked at most of our BAS programs within Portland Public Schools. Kristina is very excited to return for the 2016-17 school year as the Site Supervisor at Rose City Park. She is originally from Orange County, California and lived there for 24 years before taking the leap and moving to Portland. Kristina attended the University of California, San Diego and obtained a degree in Psychology and has been working with kids for the past 4 years. Her past experience includes working as a reading tutor in one of San Diego’s public schools, at the Early Childhood Education Center at the University of California, San Diego and instructing kids at Roxy/Quicksilver Surf Camps in Newport Beach, California. Kristina has a deep passion for nature and the outdoors, so coming to Portland has been a perfect fit. On her free time you can find her hanging out around town with her dog, Bella; hiking, biking, camping, backpacking, slacklining, bouldering and playing tennis.
