About Jessica

Jessica comes to Camp Fire Columbia from the great state of Michigan. She earned her BA in International Studies/Political Science from Northern Michigan University. Jessica has worked with youth in various settings including Girls Scouts, The Young Guru Academy, and as a substitute teacher. As the Youth Volunteer Corps Service Learning Coordinator, she is excited about having fun while getting her hands dirty in the community, guiding the students in their journey to learning how to make local impact. In her free time Jessica enjoys having bonfires, climbing, listening to podcasts as well as volunteering with the World Affairs Council and PDX Immigration Action Group.
